Like baseball and tulips, the Open House Weekend has become a spring tradition in Clark County!
Posted April 20, 2018 in Special Features
The 9th annual Washington Association of Realtors Open House Weekend is a great opportunity for home buyers and sellers to visit many of the homes for sale throughout Clark County. On behalf of the Clark County Association of Realtors, I would like to personally invite you to this 2-day event on April 21-22, where homes will be open to the public. Open houses are a great way to view available homes. Buyers can look at a house online but nothing replaces the excitement of actually driving through a neighborhood and walking a home’s floor plan. People get to experience a house to see if it is a good fit for their needs and it is a wonderful, pressure-free way to spend time looking at homes on a spring weekend. Statistically, about half of all homebuyers attend open houses as part of their home buying process.
Whether you are searching for your new home or selling the one you have, this is an event you will not want to miss. With an improving housing market, buyers are ready to emerge from the sidelines to look for their next home.
Information about location and times for the many open houses can be found at realestate.columbian.com/open-houses. Look for the signs and blue balloons with the trademark Realtor “R” as you are driving around. A Realtor will be on hand at every home to offer you information about the area and the home buying process. A real estate transaction can be complicated, but a Realtor understands the complexity and makes it a seamless and exciting process for you to enjoy your new home.
Be sure to grab Saturday or Sunday’s Columbian to view all 82 Open Homes!
