Welcome to Fisher’s Landing! This is a neighborhood where the rich history of days gone by meets the convenience and livability of modern life. Here you will find safe and quiet communities with generous modern dwellings. This is a fantastic place to take a stroll and enjoy the peaceful scenery, well-maintained yards, and plentiful parks. The Fisher’s Landing neighborhood is thoughtfully developed and comprised of small purpose-built communities with a convenient commercial area that has all the necessary amenities.

The main commercial areas are along 164th Avenue and Mill Plain Blvd. This is a wonderful area to do a bit of shopping or enjoy a meal. Whether you are looking to shop at a larger chain like Target, Kohl’s, and Costco or a smaller privately owned shop, Fisher’s Landing offers fantastic amenities. I love to stop by New Seasons for a healthy snack and Mud Bay to grab a treat for the pups. One of my favorite spots is Cascade Athletic Club. This is a great place to enjoy a swim in the saltwater pool and relax in the sauna. They also have a rock-climbing wall and extensive training facilities.

The history of Fisher’s Landing dates back to the 1800’s when the community was known as Fisher. The neighborhood was named after a man named Solomon Fisher; he established a riverboat landing on the Columbia at the base of 164th Ave. In the 1900’s the landing serviced the ferry that traveled to Government Island. While the historic buildings and ferry landing no longer exist today, if you go down to the river’s edge you will still find a small community park and beach that serve as a reminder of the neighborhood’s history.
