Cascade Park West

Welcome to Cascade Park West! This is a neighborhood with wonderful homes, thoughtfully planned apartments, lovely parks, and a bustling business area. Another one of the benefits of this community is that it is in an excellent location; proximity to Chkalov Dr. and Mill Plain Blvd allows for convenient access to some of the best amenities that Vancouver has to offer. It is also conveniently located near I-205 and SR 14, which makes commuting a breeze.

Whether you are looking for larger chain restaurants like MOD Pizza, Jimmy John’s and Nektar Juice Bar, or smaller privately owned establishments, this neighborhood has some great food options. One of my favorite spots is Jorge’s Bakery. The staff is friendly, and they serve delicious baked goods and have some other good menu options. Jorge makes some of the best flan that I have ever had. The orejas are also extremely popular and worth a try. If you are looking for a hearty breakfast, check out Breakfast at Valerie’s. Here, the friendly staff serve a fantastic traditional breakfast. On most days, they open at 6 am which makes it a great place to grab a bite in the early morning. Try the French toast or an omelet.

Not too far from Cascade Park West, you will find Biddlewood Park. This 7-acre park has a neat little playground, great walking trails and beautifully wooded greenspace. This is a wonderful place to take the pups for a walk, kick the soccer ball around or just lie on the grass. If you like to explore the parks of Vancouver, Cascade Park West is home to Wy’East Park and Cascade Park which offer some lovely greenspace to enjoy.
