2021 “Spoilers”

After the year we’ve all had, I am looking forward and planning exciting things for 2021. One of the most exciting things coming up for next year is the refreshed design of this Sunday Columbian Homes section, becoming Home & Lifestyle.
The new Home & Lifestyle Sunday section will bring more reader features that include Home Staging, Pet of the Week, Outdoor, Food, Realtor Spotlight, Home Improvement, Healthy Living and more. There will be a little something for everyone.
The new Home & Lifestyle portion of The Columbian will be uplifting and informative. There will be recipes, information to help you with home loans and home staging. It will be an exciting section that changes its content weekly to bring back readers and satisfy our current audience.
We will also be welcoming Tracie DeMars of RE/MAX Equity Group as a monthly contributor of the Real Estate Trends article. Tracie is a well-versed, experienced Realtor who share real estate tips to buying & selling homes. Tracie will join our veteran Real Estate Trends contributors: Scott from Clark County Title, Mike from Peak Mortgage, and Jerud from Urban NW Homes. Collectively their articles give us so much insight to SW Washington real estate industry.
The Pet content will be a weekly Adopt-a-Pet effort for SW Washington Humane Society sponsored by Rowena Lusby-Caplice of Windermere Stellar. So many rescued pets need good families to bring them into their homes, and the new year is a perfect time for you to make a difference.
In the Home Staging content, you will meet Dianne Morris, a local Realtor who specializes in Home Staging & Décor. Her exciting weekly article will include topics such as “Why You Should Stage Your Home Even in a Hot Market”, “Home Staging for Different Seasons” and “Home Color Trends”.
As we close the chapter on 2020, I’m eager to begin fresh with a new year and a bright, positive outlook. I’m sure many of you will agree that we are all ready for a change, a happy change. It is my belief that the new Home & Lifestyles section will reflect our shared optimism for a wonderful new year!
