How long have you worked in Real Estate?
I began working in real estate as an investor nearly 20 years ago. Although I obtained my Broker’s license more recently than that, I have a broad background of experience in transactions involving Residential property, Commercial property, different types of income properties, and even farm and timber land.

What is your specialty?
Income properties of all types. I love helping people find properties that will help them grow their net worth, and I love helping them make sound decisions about the transaction.

What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy or sell a home?
Find a Realtor® that will listen to you and ask you questions about what you want out of the transaction. A good agent wants to truly know what their client is looking for so they can help them find it and get it!

What is the most unique property you’ve listed or sold?
The greatest thing about real estate is that every property is unique. No two properties are exactly alike, and that is why I enjoy it so much. I get to see something new every single day.

What is the most unusual thing you’ve encountered while working in real estate?
There was a house that had been vacant for over a year that I helped an investor purchase as a rental house. During the inspection they found out that the fan above the kitchen stove wasn’t working. When they got in there to replace it, they discovered that the reason the fan didn’t work was that some birds had gotten in from the outside and built a nest in the duct work.

What is the most challenging/gratifying aspect of what you do?
The most gratifying part is just getting to see or work with a different property or situation every day. I like to discover something new and to learn something new every day.

What do you see in the future for real estate sales/prices?
I see a bright future for real estate prices in Clark County. We live in a very desirable part of the country and as long as we continue to have economic growth, the real estate market will thrive.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Hobbies, volunteering, family, fun?
I love spending time with my wife and our four amazing children. I also believe strongly in giving back to the community. I volunteer my time serving on the boards of some local non-profit community organizations; I volunteer at our local middle school; and, most enjoyably, I volunteer as a youth football and softball coach. I love coaching kids and seeing them learn life lessons and build self esteem.

What do you like about living in this area?
It’s Home! I was born and raised in the PNW and have lived in Clark County since 2002. It is one of the most beautiful places on earth and it offers something for everyone.
