Is That A Light at the End of the Tunnel?

2020 has been both horrible and exciting. Horrible, due to the virus and exciting because of real estate activity. Our sincere concern continues for everyone affected by the virus both physically and financially, and I know that hope is universal that the vaccines in the news are truly the light at the end of the tunnel that can help get us back to normal. As we approach Thanksgiving, I hope all families and friends can find a way of celebrating and giving thanks despite the complications.

Regarding real estate, and on a brighter note, interest rates are at historical lows. Refinancing activity is very strong. Sales are also at historical levels, especially the inventory of homes (number of listed homes divided by the number of closings in a month)—we’re now down to weeks instead of months. If you’ve considered refinancing or selling your home, now is certainly the time to do it!

Clark County Title is blessed to have made it through the virus, so far, without a hitch. Our dedicated staff is working both at the office and from home to ensure that title reports are being timely and accurately supplied, and that closings are occurring in a safe manner.
