Realtors Awarded Leader in Professionalism Award

Vancouver, WA – The Clark County Association of Realtors (CCAR) has awarded the Leader in Professionalism Award. Realtors are different than real estate agents as by being a member, they take an oath to abide by a strict Code of Ethics mandated by the National Association of Realtors (NAR).
The Leader in Professionalism Award to given to members who exemplify the Code of Ethics with every transaction. A Leader in Professionalism is awarded to one member quarterly.
2018’s first quarter recipient is Joe Carbajal with RE/Max Equity Group. “From beginning to end, Joe and Trudy Carbajal were very professional and a pleasure to work with ensuring all parties’ needs were met during the transaction and even getting small repairs made that were discovered during the house cleaning,” wrote the nominator.
2018’s second quarter recipient is Gary Drake with Coldwell Banker Bain. “Gary went out of his way in our transaction to make sure a last minute issue with his buyer was taken care of personally, which showed his respect for all parties in the transaction and was key to getting the transaction to close. His professionalism in communicating with all concerned, serving his client, and creating trust and respect with me, the listing agent was ideal. All emails and phone calls were immediately returned, and he hand delivered important documents to the escrow office. Gary radiates professionalism, and it is clear he follows the Code of Ethics in every transaction,” wrote the nominator.
Nominations are submitted by their peers and reviewed by the CCAR’s Professional Standards Committee. All nomination are kept confidential and award based solely on merit.
