Don’t Miss Northcrest Neighborhood
Posted August 2, 2021 in Special Features
It’s been a while since friends and family have been out visiting people in different neighborhoods. Now is the perfect time for getting to know Vancouver better. Nicole Saul with Home Sweet Home Realty brings you insights from a Real Estate Perspective in Around Vancouver:
SAFE. RELATIVELY INEXPENSIVE. TOP SCHOOLS. GREAT PARKS. COFFEE SHOPS. RESTAURANTS. ALL NESTLED IN NATURE WITH AWESOME LIVING.
Some neighborhoods hide away from the rush of life. The Northcrest Neighborhood has lured a population of about 990 to this area built above the Columbia.
Northcrest has a friendly, charming feel and is close to everything that Vancouver has to offer. I love this neighborhood, and my family and I are happy to call it home. It is centrally located to the many places we like to frequent within Vancouver. Some of my favorites close to home are River Maiden Coffee, Los Alambres Mexican restaurant, Heavy Metal Brewing, and Vintage Bookstore. Northcrest is a place of unique homes, large yards and friendly smiles. The fantastic parks nearby are great for going on a stroll with my dogs. The neighborhood is perfect for walking, running, and cycling. There is nothing I enjoy more than jogging on Burnt Bridge Creek Greenway and grabbing a coffee from one of the nearby coffee shops.
Certainly the history of our city named for George Vancouver may bring the exploratory feelings that he held as he mapped this place we love to call home.
