Real Estate Trends: Emphasis on Relationships
Posted July 25, 2020 in Real Estate Trends
Dear Neighbors,
With disruption and uncertainty due the pandemic, an expert mortgage advisor is more important than ever. What qualities should one look for when choosing an advisor? What are the key questions to ask and the best information?
I’ve always valued trust in my relationship with Peak Mortgage. One can only be as good as the people and the place, and Peak Mortgage has a great admin and team. I’ve learned from my new clients that they often seek out Peak Mortgage because their former broker they liked left. I’m proud of the long-term relationships I have built with clients here in Vancouver where I’ve been since the start of my career. Relationships mean everything.
Believing in the big picture is especially important during this time, because the systems that once were in step together are now impacted by various happenings. Being in communication greatly helps and I appreciate when anyone calls or emails to check in. The pandemic has affected the speed at which the industry is operating.
Personal chemistry is important. Next, experience, capacity and strategy are must haves I’ve learned. Without those qualities, relationships can waiver. Also, a full-time dedication to the marketplace is becoming more important. Some mortgage advisors don’t dedicate their full-time to their work. Check. There’s no shortage of brokers, so ask questions, get information that makes sense and feels right before making the application.
In this world of virtual information, there is still a need to know who the best contractors are and who the builders are that can address the incredibly varied processes we are weathering here. Your best mortgage advisor works alongside with the best of the best in the industry.
Thank you for your continued loyalty to Peak Mortgage, and I look forward to getting to know you soon or learning more about you.
