How long have you worked in Real Estate?
I’ve been a licensed realtor in the State of Washington for nearly 20 years.

What is your specialty?
Residential properties with a background in new construction. I earned the designation Certified New Home Specialist (CNHS), Council of Residential Specialist (CRS) and the Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI).

What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy or sell a home?
Do your homework, interview a few agents, and choose wisely. Agents have different strengths and experience; you don’t want me helping you with a floating home purchase or sale, for example.

What is the most unique property you’ve listed or sold?
A few years ago I had 360 acres in Chelatchie Prairie listed, most know it as TumTum mountain.

What is the most unusual thing you’ve encountered while working in real estate?
Spending all day walking the 360 acre mountain, all the way to the top. No, he didn’t buy it.

What is the most challenging/gratifying aspect of what you do?
In our current market the challenge is a lack of inventory for the number of buyers looking for a new home. The gratifying part is finding that perfect home in spite of the market.

What do you see in the future for real estate sales/prices?
Real estate is cyclical and this too shall change, 2016 started strong and will finish strong. I expect the appreciation to settle down in 2017 but will still be relatively strong.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Hobbies, volunteering, family, fun?
I travel to Monterey every year for the Monterey Jazz Festival, this marks the 24th year of volunteering there. I also sit on the Oregon Music Hall of Fame board of directors, both of these organizations benefit music education in the schools.

What do you like about living in this area?
Just about everything, we are close to the mountains, the coast, rivers, festivals, the big city, great food, moderate climate and lots of music, what’s not to love.

I’m embarking on a new chapter in my career, I’ve moved to Soldera Properties to manage, sell and help build the brand in Clark County. Amazing group of people with a proven culture, very excited for the future.
