How long have you worked in Real Estate?
I have been a licensed real estate broker for 13 years and counting.
What is your specialty?
I’m well versed in all areas of real estate including commercial, development and residential. My primary focus is investment sales which includes rental properties, multi-family/apartment complexes and retail net leased properties.
What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy or sell a home?
For buyers: Start by getting pre-approved with a lender if you’ll be financing the purchase, then hire a REALTORĀ®. There are many important steps and you’ll want to be guided through the process to ensure a successful purchase. For sellers: Don’t stress. I will lead you through the process from pricing your property, offer negotiations, feasibility/inspection/repairs, appraisal and finally through close of escrow.
What is the most unique property you’ve listed or sold?
I’ve sold an array of properties from a tennis court to a Walgreens.
What is the most challenging/gratifying aspect of what you do?
The most challenging and gratifying aspects, for me, are the same – the emotion involved. It’s very hard to inform a buyer they didn’t get their offer accepted, though on the flip side, when they do get their offer accepted it’s very rewarding and exciting for both of us.
What do you see in the future for real estate sales/prices?
I foresee the market stabilizing. I think we’ll see leveling off from accelerated prices. I believe real estate will continue to increase in value, maybe not at the pace we’ve seen earlier this year/last year; however, it will continue to be an excellent long-term investment. Seattle and Portland prices and population are driving more and more people here, I do not see demand decreasing.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Hobbies, volunteering, family, fun?
I adore spending time with my husband, Dustin, our two pups, and friends and family. In the summer, you’ll find us paddle boarding around the lake, boating on the river and out exploring with our pups. In the winter we enjoy cabin time and playing in the snow at Mt. Hood.
What do you like about living in this area?
Oh the Pacific Northwest… so many things I love. So much beauty: the seasons, the greenery, the Columbia River, the mountains, the lakes, and the clean air. Vancouver specifically – the proximity to everywhere/the proximity to nowhere. Just across the bridge takes you into the City of Portland, just up the highway takes you to farmland and open fields. We are just a short drive to the beach, Oregon Wine Country, the scenic Columbia River Gorge – staycations are easy around here.
Anything else you would like our readers to know about you and your company?
I strive to provide my clients with excellent customer service from start to finish. I will work hard to earn your business and give your property maximum exposure and attention. I will educate you each step of the way to ensure you feel comfortable and confident. My goal is to procure the maximum value for your investment, while making the process as seamless as possible. I’m very fortunate to be a part of such a stellar company. We are provided with great resources, a wealth of knowledge from years of experience and success, great mentors and ample support to get any project to the finish line.
