How long have you worked in Real Estate?
I have been a licensed RealtorĀ® for just over 2 years. Previous to Real Estate I worked in Promotions and Management, for the motorsports industry.
What is your specialty?
Along with providing my clients with exceptional service, listing homes is my specialty. My passion for staging, interior decorating, photography and advertising helps each of my listings sell quickly for the price my clients deserve.
What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy or sell a home?
Do not be afraid to ask questions. Knowledge is power, especially in a real estate transaction. I am not only a representative of my client but also a teacher, providing information to make well informed decisions.
What is the most unique property you’ve listed or sold?
I love unique properties and the Northwest offers many of them. My favorite unique home that I have sold was a custom built 3500 sq. ft. home designed to look like a barn. Although it was a distressed property and in need of some renovations, I immediately fell in love with this home. The space, architecture, and property had so much to offer. I was so happy to sell it to my long time friends, who have since remodeled, repainted and redecorated the interior to be absolutely breathtaking.
What is the most unusual thing you’ve encountered while working in real estate?
It is hard to choose just one! I have seen bomb shelters, fuzzy window seals, a floor to ceiling living room mural of Jesus, 10′ fish statues and so much more. I have always been fascinated with people and their unique living styles.
What is the most challenging/gratifying aspect of what you do?
I love the process and the people. The most gratifying aspect is being able to assist my clients in getting what they need, whether it be buying the perfect home or selling their home quickly for the best price. This time of year is the most rewarding as I see my clients showing pride in their new homes, decorating, making memories and loving life.
What do you see in the future for real estate sales/prices?
I see the local real estate market continuing to rise. The increase of industry and commerce in our local area has increased real estate values. The revitalization of neighborhoods, new businesses and the new waterfront development project has put Vancouver on the national map for real estate. This trend is going to continue and spread throughout Clark County as people learn Vancouver, WA is the best place to live! The Portland Metro Area was named in the “Top 10 Housing Markets to Envy in 2017”.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Hobbies, volunteering, family, fun?
My family and I are full of adventure and love exploring the Northwest in our Sprinter van. We love hiking in the Gorge, sailing and kayaking on the Columbia River, biking around town on local bike paths, and riding motorcycles in the Gifford National Forest.
What do you like about living in this area?
The Pacific Northwest has everything you could ask for. Our bustling cities, mountains, lakes, rivers and the coast make for the perfect place to live and thrive.
