How long have you worked in Real Estate?
I’ve been selling real estate in Clark County since 1997. Before entering the Real Estate Industry, I worked for the Camas-Washougal Chamber of Commerce.
What is your specialty?
My specialty is residential home sales. I represent buyers and sellers of all price ranges. I find the home of their dreams and/or sell their current home for the highest price. I have also sold multifamily dwellings and land throughout Clark County.
What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy or sell a home?
The one tip I have for buyers or sellers is to find a great realtor. Someone that will go the extra mile. One that listens to your needs and wants and works with you to accomplish them.
What is the most unique property you’ve listed or sold?
The most unique property I have listed was a geodesic dome home on the Columbia River. The shape and angles of all the rooms allowed the windows to take in the views of the beautiful Columbia River. The transaction was interesting since there were very few like properties to use when it came time for the appraisal. With a lot of hard work we were able to put the deal together and both buyer and seller were happy.
What is the most challenging/gratifying aspect of what you do?
The most gratifying aspect of my job are the people. This past year I have worked with many amazing clients. From newlyweds, retirees, new residents relocating for work, and local families downsizing or upsizing. It’s the people and their stories that makes me happy to work in real estate.
What do you see in the future for real estate sales/prices?
I believe our area of the country will remain in a very good position for the next few years. Demand is still high and inventory still low, making for an exciting real estate market. Interest in Clark County continues to be very high due in part to the high standard of living, exceptional schools and favorable tax laws. Now is a great time to invest in Real Estate!
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Hobbies, volunteering, family, fun?
For years, our spare time has been spent traveling with our kids as they both were very involved in school and club soccer. I volunteer on different clubs and committees in the school district. In addition, I work with my office to provide for local organizations such as Meals on Wheels, Interfaith Treasure House, CAROL program and the grad night parties for both Camas and Washougal High Schools.
What do you like about living in this area?
I love Clark County! Friday night football games, First Friday events, Concerts in Esther Short Park and Camas Meadows, Summer parades, Holiday celebrations, Motocross Events and more. There are so many opportunities to get out and see old friends, as well as making new ones. We enjoy all the conveniences of the big city with our proximity to Portland but strive to maintain our small-town friendliness and charm.
Anything else you would like our readers to know about you and your company?
I love my Windermere Crest family! We have a beautiful office building in downtown Camas that is conveniently located for all our clients. I believe in the Windermere Way, that customer service is my #1 priority. I pride myself in giving my clients the individualized, personal attention they deserve.
