Gabby Veja, Clark County WA real estate agent

How long have you worked in Real Estate?
Back in 1991 my family and I moved from Romania to this amazing country. After living in the state of Colorado, where we became home owners for the first time, we relocated to the beautiful Northwest where in 1998 I start selling real estate and I have been doing this for over 18 years.

What is your specialty?
My specialty is selling, listing and marketing residential properties, vacant land, investment and occasionally commercial properties. I also specialize in relocations.

What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy or sell a home?
First of all someone should choose the right RealtorĀ® who will work for them and help them find the property they deserve and make them happy for years to come. I also refer my clients to a professional and experienced loan officer.

What is the most unique property you’ve listed or sold?
Every property I’ve sold or listed was unique in its own way knowing that I helped a family or single buyer to live the American Dream. When selling Real Estate, for me it is not important the price as much as helping my clients find the property they love, keeping in mind that their home is their castle.

What is the most unusual thing you’ve encountered while working in real estate?
Back in 2008-2010, during the recession, I was able to help some people negotiate with banks in order to avoid foreclosure or selling their properties as a short sale.

What is the most challenging/gratifying aspect of what you do?
The most challenging is dealing with the inflation, making it harder for some buyers to get approved for a loan, but it is gratifying to see clients who are happy to purchase their dream home.

What do you see in the future for real estate sales/prices?
The real estate in our area, especially in Vancouver, is very attractive to so many people due to the tax benefits and the affordable prices, and the feeling of a small town on the I-5 corridor between Portland and Seattle. For these reasons and the low interest rates, real estate will keep growing in our area.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Hobbies, volunteering, family, fun?
In my free time over the last year, I have enjoyed spending time with our first grandson, also working with my beautiful wife on our property gardening, raising some animals such as goats and chickens, and making cheese and cooking. We also like to travel all over the world.

What do you like about living in this area?
Living in Clark County, I enjoy being close to the ocean and the mountains where there are so many opportunities for one day trips, going hiking, enjoying nature and helping us live a healthy life.
