How long have you worked in Real Estate?
Christine has been a licensed Realtor® since 2011. She started in Real Estate as a Short Sale Negotiator after transitioning from being a Loan Officer. Tom has been selling Real Estate for four years after working as a Sales Manager over five states for over 20 years.
What is your specialty?
Client satisfaction. By taking the time to communicate and keep our clients informed. Treating people how we would like to be treated with honesty and integrity.
What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy or sell a home?
Do your homework and make sure you have good representation. This will help ensure that buying or selling a home is a good experience.
What is the most unique property you’ve listed or sold?
A beautiful Parade of Homes Model – 3 levels, 5,150 square feet that stumped appraisers!
What is the most unusual thing you’ve encountered while working in real estate?
We have seen a lot, from items left behind to actual “people” left behind. We once had a seller leave his disabled ex-wife in the home after moving. When our client took possession, she was there in the bedroom with only her belongings. Turned out she had a warrant out for her arrest for shoplifting. She then spent four months in jail and returned to the home at 4AM when she was released. You can’t make this stuff up! Nothing surprises us anymore.
What is the most challenging/gratifying aspect of what you do?
Finding a balance of career, family, and personal time in such a demanding industry. I will never get over the excitement and emotions of joy you feel when handing over the keys to a family of first time home buyers. Knowing you just made a wish come true is truly gratifying.
What do you see in the future for real estate sales/prices?
In my opinion, Clark County will continue to be a place people want to live and we will have a healthy sustainable market. I believe there will be somewhat of a leveling off once supply meets demand.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Hobbies, volunteering, family, fun?
We enjoy boating with family and friends on the amazing waterways of SW Washington. We also love to travel. Christine is on The Board of Directors Innovative Services here in Clark County. They serve over 1,600 families in Clark County through their various services provided.
What do you like about living in this area?
Having four seasons. Looking out your window and seeing mountains and greenery. Neighbors helping neighbors.
Anything else you would like our readers to know about you and your company?
We are passionate about serving the community by helping families sell and buy homes. When you love what you do, it doesn’t feel like work.
