How long have you worked in Real Estate?
l became a RealtorĀ® 10 years ago.
What is your specialty?
Making sure that my client’s every need is met. I listen to them and learn their priorities and when necessary give them good suggestions on a course of action. I mainly focus on residential properties.
What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy or sell a home?
Find the right RealtorĀ®! There are many of us out there and you need to find someone that is professional and that you trust. The process can take time so it’s important that you have a RealtorĀ® you want to spent time with and will listen to your needs.
What is the most unique property you’ve listed or sold?
A Castle, turret and all.
What is the most unusual thing you’ve encountered while working in real estate?
I was showing an old farm home in rural Clark County. We climbed the creaky stairs to the master bedroom and sitting right in the middle of the bed was a “Chucky” type doll. It felt like the eyes were on us the whole time. My client and l looked at each other, quickly went down the stairs and out the door. That was probably the weirdest thing we ever encountered.
What is the most challenging/gratifying aspect of what you do?
There is nothing more gratifying than helping clients find their perfect home. With our current low inventory, it’s important to stay on the listings and be prepared to act quickly.
What do you see in the future for real estate sales/prices?
Interest rates are holding steady for the most part so it’s still a great time for home buyers. If you are thinking of selling your home, the prices are inching up.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Hobbies, volunteering, family, fun?
My family and I love all the fabulous activities the Pacific Northwest offers. I love to fish (catch), snow ski, and jet ski. My husband and I enjoy traveling and riding motorcycles. I’m an active volunteer through the Vancouver Elks Lodge.
What do you like about living in this area?
I have lived in Camas for 21 years and absolutely love it. My youngest son went all the way through the nationally acclaimed Camas School District. The Greater Vancouver area has a feel of community that you don’t find in a lot of cities. There are concerts in the parks, movie nights and local farmer’s markets. The surrounding areas each have their own unique and wonderful characteristics.
Anything else you would like our readers to know about you and your company?
Our company feels like a family even though it’s the largest independent Real Estate Agency in the area. We offer client appreciation events to honor them. Realty Pro offers buyers full service lending. I want to give my clients the best experience they will ever have when buying or selling their home or business. My goal is to be informed, knowledgeable and keep it fun.
