HOW LONG HAVE YOU WORKED IN REAL ESTATE?
I started my career in Real Estate in April 2004 and have been loving it ever since!

WHAT IS YOUR SPECIALTY?
I work mostly with residential properties in the SW Washington area. I was born and raised in Vancouver so I have a lot of knowledge about the different areas, schools, community and all of the beautiful things the NW has to offer. I think of myself as being very patient with my buyers and sellers and think this is why many of them are now good friends, return clients and my best source for referrals.

WHAT IS ONE TIP YOU HAVE FOR SOMEONE LOOKING TO BUY OR SELL A HOME?
Find a Realtor® who will listen to your needs and be willing to help you through the process of buying or selling a home. In this crazy market that we are in, getting pre-approved with a lender and ready to purchase is the best advice for someone looking to buy a home. As for sellers, make sure you find a Realtor® who can help you prepare to sell your home and share their knowledge and understanding of the market.

WHAT IS THE MOST UNIQUE PROPERTY YOU’VE LISTED OR SOLD?
I think the most unique property that I have listed is one of my current listings in Cougar, Washington. It is a one of a kind beautiful home with a million dollar view of Mount St. Helens and Swift Reservoir below. It’s a truly magical place.

WHAT IS THE MOST CHALLENGING/GRATIFYING ASPECT OF WHAT YOU DO?
I think the most challenging thing is trying to reassure clients that everything usually works out in the end but sometimes there are bumps in the process. When you have a first time buyer or seller, taking the extra time to make sure they have a full understanding of the process helps when these trying times come up. For me it’s very gratifying to get to the closing table, seeing their smiles and know that I have done everything I can make the buying/selling process the best that it can be.

WHAT DO YOU SEE IN THE FUTURE FOR REAL ESTATE SALES/PRICES?
I think the housing market will continue to be strong in Clark County in 2018. Even though interest rates have increased slightly, they are still very attractive.

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY DOING WHEN YOU ARE NOT WORKING? HOBBIES, VOLUNTEERING, FAMILY, FUN?
I love spending time with my family. My husband and I will be celebrating 37 years of marriage in July. We have two beautiful daughters, Chelsey and Whitney, two great son-in-laws, Kenny and Jake, and four adorable grandkids, Sadie, Chael, Cora and Israel who we absolutely adore and cannot get enough of. We also have a cutie pie Shitzu named Stella. We enjoy traveling, golfing, driving our two classic cars which are a 1966 Pontiac Tempest convertible and a 1970 Dodge Challenger, wine tasting and enjoying the beautiful Pacific NW.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT LIVING IN THIS AREA?
My husband and I were born and raised here but did move to Arizona and Colorado for his work. We enjoyed those places but always come back home. It took us 18 years to get back but we have now been back almost 19 years. Living in this area gives us so many options of things to do within a few hours of home. Being able to go to the ocean, desert or the mountains anytime is wonderful. The Columbia River Gorge is one of the most beautiful places in the world. We feel very lucky to live in such a wonderful place.

ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE OUR READERS TO KNOW ABOUT YOU AND YOUR COMPANY?
I am very honest, patient and reliable and would be happy to help you with your Real Estate needs. I look forward to meeting and working with many new clients and forming lifelong friendships. I am honored to work for Berkshire Hathaway Home Services NW Real Estate who provide me with everything I need to be successful while providing great leadership and a sense of family.
