A Wide Appeal for East County: Construction Underway on Two New Home Construction Communities in Camas and Washougal

“People are moving into this area for the schools and also the restaurants and businesses that are going in out there,” he said.
Village at Camas Meadows
Buyers looking in the Camas area will be interested to know about The Village at Camas Meadows. Built by Seven Peaks Homes, the 30 townhouse community is located just East of Camas Meadows Golf Course and blocks from the 2018 Parade of Homes.
The 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath townhomes feature spacious main level living with a luxury kitchen, dining, study, and great room. Upstairs are the bedrooms, a large loft area which can serve as a study or flex room, and utility room. The master suite has a large bathroom and walk-in closet. Greenview Estates in Washougal
For buyers looking in Washougal, there’s a brand-new community just minutes from Highway 14. Built by NW Elite Homes, the community features 54 luxury townhomes. Three different interior design packages are available including choices of dark or white cabinets, and granite or quartz slab. Duplexes, triplexes and fourplexes range from 1,558 to 1,907 square feet and lots range from 2,500 to 3,500 square feet. All have attached, one or two car garages, AC, and fenced backyards. 
“This is right off of Washougal River Road, about a mile from downtown Washougal which has cafes, eateries and really close to the boat launch,” Dustin says. “It’s also about a ten minute drive to Downtown Camas which is really starting to come along.”
Dustin thinks outdoor enthusiasts will really appreciate the location with the Steigerwald Lake Wildlife Refuge and Cottonwood Beach about a two minute drive away.
“Washougal is also the Gateway to The Gorge,” he said. “This community is just a few minutes to jump onto Highway 14.”
Dustin says 27 of the 54 units are currently under construction but that there is also move-in ready product available now. Like The Village at Camas Meadows, Dustin says Greenview Estates will also appeal to a wide demographic.
“We’re seeing everyone from downsizers to first time home buyers here,” he said. “We’re also seeing investors looking for rental properties.”
Prices for Greenview Estates are starting at $299,000 to $359,000.
