How long have you worked in Real Estate?
I have been licensed for 23 years. I began my career while living on the island of Guam. In 2011, my wife and I made the decision to move the beautiful state of Washington and after licensing here, continue to work in Real Estate. I was privileged to be a part of Columbia Realty when Charlene Wright opened our firm.

What is your specialty?
I am a full-service Broker. This means that I provide buyers and well as sellers with all the vital information and steps to successfully complete the transaction. Although my primary focus is on buyers and sellers, I am also involved in custom home construction with private builders.

What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy or sell a home?
The one tip that I would share with clients, whether a buyer or seller, is to stay focused on their goal. The process of buying or selling a home or property can be very difficult and emotional. They need to rely on their agent to guide them through the process.

What is the most unique property you’ve listed or sold?
There is not one particular property that stands out in my mind. However, the clients themselves, their particular needs and/or wants can make transactions unique and often very distinct.

What is the most unusual thing you’ve encountered while working in real estate?
The most unusual encounter I have had in Real Estate happened when I joined my clients at their new home to deliver their keys following the closing. To our surprise, we encountered a cougar just peacefully lying on the back deck of the home.

What is the most challenging/gratifying aspect of what you do?
The most challenging aspect of being a RealtorĀ®/broker is making sure that all timelines are met. The most gratifying aspect of my job is meeting new people, building new relationships, and helping them fulfill their dreams.

What do you see in the future for real estate sales/prices?
I see the future of real estate sales and prices to continue at a pace in line with the growth of the economy. Here in Southwest Washington, we have been fortunate in that this is a very desirable area to live in, and new residents will continue to be drawn to this area.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Hobbies, volunteering, family, fun?
When I am not working I like to be outside as much as possible. My hobbies include trap shooting, motorbike racing, and after spending a good portion of my life on boats in the Pacific Ocean, fishing will always be a passion. Last, but not least I love spending as much time as I can with my family, friends, and dog (Kayley).

What do you like about living in this area?
Southwest Washington is amazing! Its proximity to the mountains as well as the ocean makes it a spectacular place to live and raise a family. The cities offer a wide range of activities, fine dining, shopping, and overall great quality of life.
