How long have you worked in Real Estate?
12 years

What is your specialty?
As the owner of Premiere Property Group, I’m always trying to create better systems and programs for our brokers and the company. When people have the freedom to find the most effective system to complete their job, they take pride in their work and this carries over to the level of service they provide for their clients. My specialty is creating these systems and programs that help our brokers, yet give them the freedom to grow and personalize their business.

What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy or sell a home?
Know your goals! Build a relationship with a professional who will help you achieve your goals and who has your best interest in mind.

What is the most unique property you’ve listed or sold?
I helped a close friend buy his dream home, a home he grew up loving. The house was a 1920’s bungalow on top of Grand Blvd. It had been neglected for some time and I don’t believe it had ever been updated–it still had the original kitchen ice box! The house wasn’t actually for sale but we located the heirs of the estate and wrote an offer, which included a letter from my friend, stating how long he had loved the home and how he vowed to restore it to its former glory. They accepted his offer and he stayed true to his word. The house is now absolutely amazing! I’m sure the former owners would be pleased.

What is the most unusual thing you’ve encountered while working in real estate?
While representing a buyer I received a call stating there was a serious problem. I thought to myself “How bad could it be?” It was pretty bad. The entire first floor ceiling had collapsed! There had been an unknown leak which had caused so much water damage that the ceiling gave out. Needless to say, my client did not pursue the purchase of the home.

What is the most challenging/gratifying aspect of what you do?
Seeing the transformation and success of our brokers is the most gratifying aspect of my job. Brokers entering our firm receive coaching and encouragement from top seasoned brokers, not just the managing staff. It’s great to see this type of teamwork in our industry and to see “rookies” and seasoned brokers surpass the goals they set for themselves.

What do you see in the future for real estate sales/prices?
There is a large amount of land development and new construction unfolding right now. I feel this will bring us a balanced inventory in 2018 and we’ll see prices start to level out.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Hobbies, volunteering, family, fun?
Recently Premiere Property Group sponsored a build day for the Women Build Program of Habitat for Humanity. I can’t even begin to describe how much fun this was for our team! Don’t get me wrong, it was a ton of work but the amount of teamwork involved in building one of these homes is unlike anything someone will experience in an office setting. Knowing that you helped build a home for a family brings a sense of accomplishment and joy that stays with you. I also support youth athletics and have spent years coaching my two daughter’s soccer teams. But two hobbies that I enjoy more than anything are wake surfing with my family and cruising my 64′ Malibu with my wife. Nothing is more fun!

What do you like about living in this area?
I’ve lived here my entire life, so I’m the typical PNW native. I love the mountains, the beaches, hiking, biking, camping, boating, anything and everything outdoors and of course, I love a good microbrew.
