How long have you worked in Real Estate?
I have been involved in Real Estate for a few years and decided to pursue my license this last year. I have been with Windermere since the beginning of summer.

What is your specialty?
The culmination of my experiences in owning my own freelance marketing company, Freelance Media Marketing, and then working with a local CPA firm has given me the ability to be proactive in today’s Real Estate market. Marketing and working with social media are some of my greatest strengths.
I enjoy every aspect of the business. I like the variety that Real Estate offers. Each day is fun and exciting while bringing new challenges to solve.

What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy or sell a home?
There’s a lot of facts and figures out there! You need the expertise and guidance of a Realtor to help you navigate the layers of information to help you decide what’s best for you.

What is the most unique property you’ve listed or sold?
A property that has its own natural waterfall and pond, with an incredible Columbia River view!

What is the most unusual thing you’ve encountered while working in real estate?
A 5-level home with an eclectic art collection from all over the world.

What is the most challenging/gratifying aspect of what you do?
Finally finding that perfect home for a client! It’s the best feeling. It’s also gratifying to help a client sell a home so they can pursue their next adventure in life.

What do you see in the future for real estate sales/prices?
Real Estate interest rates are still at historic lows and won’t be there forever. The Real Estate market cycles through highs and lows. If you’re thinking about buying or selling, now is a good time for it.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Hobbies, volunteering, family, fun?
On my days off I love to be with my family. I am happily married and have 3 amazing kids, 2 who are very active at WSU and one at Prairie HS. We take advantage of local activities that are happening – pumpkin farms, apple festivals, lavender-fests, concerts, wine tastings, the beach, sailing on the river. There’s always something fabulous to do! We love being outside as much as possible taking in the sights and fabulous hiking that’s available. I’m also going to try my hand at stand-up paddle-boarding next summer – we’ll see how that goes!

What do you like about living in this area?
I feel so lucky to live here in Vancouver. The beauty we are surrounded by is breathtaking and amazing. I have lived in many places throughout the country and this is by far my favorite.

Anything else you would like our readers to know about you and your company?
I love where I live and I love what I do! Real Estate has been my dream job and I am finally living it! I am so lucky to be a part of such an amazing company like Windermere. I am surrounded by incredible people who care about each other, care about the value they add to the community and the clients they serve every single day without fail. It’s an honor to be a part of this company of amazing people.
