How long have you worked in Real Estate?
I’ve been helping buyers and sellers reach their real estate goals for nearly 18 years.

What is your specialty?
Strictly residential with a background in new construction. I have earned the designations “Certified New Home Specialist” (CNHS), “Certified Residential Specialist” (CRS) and “Graduate Realtor Institute” (GRI).

What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy or sell a home?
Utilize all the tools the internet has to offer, do your research, interview a few Realtors, then select the one you feel has your best interest at heart. All Realtors are not created equal.

What is the most unique property you’ve listed or sold?
A couple of years ago I had a 360 acre mountain in Chelatchie Prairie listed. Most people know it as Tum Tum Mountain.

What is the most unusual thing you’ve encountered while working in real estate?
I was previewing a house that was a foreclosure. It was supposed to be vacant. I wandered through the house looking at the bedrooms and such when I decided to check out the basement. I took one step down and heard some commotion from the basement. With the hair standing straight out on my neck, I turned and left as fast as my feet could carry me.

What is the most challenging/gratifying aspect of what you do?
I love working with buyers and sellers in all price ranges but there is nothing more gratifying than handing that first time home buyer the keys to their new home.

What do you see in the future for real estate sales/prices?
The future for Clark County looks pretty bright. The market seems to be pointing toward steady but moderate growth.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Hobbies, volunteering, family, fun?
I love spending time with family and friends, most of our vacations are spent with them. Hobbies include stained glass art, music appreciation and antiquing. Volunteer work currently includes the Oregon Music Hall Of Fame Board, Regional Multiple Listing Service Board (RMLS), Washington Realtors Board and 21 years with Monterey Jazz Festival.

What do you like about living in this area?
Everything! I love the moderate climate, the proximity to family, friends, arts, music, coast, mountains, great restaurants and nice wine.

Anything else you would like our readers to know about you and your company?
I wake up everyday counting my blessings, that includes my association with the finest real estate company there is. Windermere Stellar is known for its professionalism and its spirit of giving back through the Windermere Foundation.
