How long have you worked in Real Estate?
I have been working in the building and lumber industry since 2004. This is my sixth year since transitioning to purchase and sale of the finalized product.

What is your specialty?
Having been in the area for over 30 years, my specialty and passion is Clark County. While nothing beats handing house keys to a first-time home buyer, I have spent my time in the industry becoming well versed in all the facets of residential purchase and sale.

What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy or sell a home?
Call me immediately!!… Honestly though, if you are even thinking of buying or selling a home, your first step is to reach out to your local trusted RealtorĀ®. They will help you understand where to start and how to finish. Making sure that you have good council and a skilled negotiator in your corner is the best thing you can do for yourself.

What is the most unique property you’ve listed or sold?
That’s a tough one considering the array of properties I handle, from light industrial, horse pastures, Luxury, to even your local church property. I can specifically call upon a current listing of mine with a large 1970’s house and guest house on two acres near downtown. Having been in the owner’s family for over 60 years, this property boasts a private park like setting where you can admire deer and other wild life near the heart of Clark County.

What is the most challenging/gratifying aspect of what you do?
One of the most challenging aspects of what I do is educating uninformed buyers who have never been through the process before. In turn this is the catalyst of gratification brought forth by the end result and realization of homeownership for those very clients.

What do you see in the future for real estate sales/prices?
In the future I see real estate will continue to be a sound investment. There will always be an ebb and flow to the market, but over time we can expect land will continue to grow as one of our single most coveted commodities.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Hobbies, volunteering, family, fun?
I like to consider myself a family man, and I also volunteer working with the youth group and praise team at my church. However, those who know me would point out my attraction to extreme sports and adrenaline. You might catch me on the slopes, behind a boat, at the local skate park, in the cold Pacific Ocean waters, riding the wind in the gorge, or even jumping from a plane.

What do you like about living in this area?
I find this place to be a geographical oddity. Whether it’s mountains, ocean, woods, or city life you’re after, we seem we have it all. Not to mention the people and community. It’s no wonder that people from all over continue to flock to the Pacific NW.
