How long have you worked in Real Estate?
I have worked in Real Estate since 2001 when I started buying investment properties. Within a year I was doing it full time. My business partner and I started a brokerage in 2005 which is now Zenith Properties NW, LLC.

What is your specialty?
We work with Sellers and Buyers, many of whom are Investors selling or buying a rental property or a primary residence. We work with properties that are at or above the median price in nice neighborhoods with good schools. Many of our clients own multiple rental properties and are expanding their portfolios. We also do Property Management and currently have close to 300 homes under management.

What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy or sell a home?
Get laser focused on what you are looking for, prioritize what is important and do your research. You will have to make some compromises so know what you are willing to give up and what you aren’t willing to give up.

What is the most challenging/gratifying aspect of what you do?
Helping my clients achieve their goals. We like our clients to give us the big picture of what they are trying to accomplish. We love to help them get it, especially when we do better for them than what they had expected!

What do you see in the future for real estate sales/prices?
Clark County is going to grow and at a rate that will outpace most metropolitan markets around the country. Right now there is so much pent up demand it will take years for the market here to reach equilibrium as we have known it in the past. Of course this means prices will go up, however hopefully it will be more moderated than it was from 2004 to 2006.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Hobbies, volunteering, family, fun?
I enjoy spending time away from work with my family and going to my kids’ sporting and school events. Our family loves to travel, especially to the warm water and sun. Our entire family is really involved at our church and our faith helps keep everything in perspective.

What do you like about living in this area?
We love the moderate climate, the rivers, the gorge, the views, hiking and the outdoors…oh, and the cool brewpub scene.
