Denice Neddo, Clark County WA real estate agent

How long have you worked in Real Estate?
Since 1994.

What are the top three things that separate you from your competition?
Experience, skills, honesty, integrity and passion for what I do.

What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy or sell a home?
Buying: Work with a broker/agent that has top notch negotiating skills, knows the market, and works for you, not just the commission. Listen to their advice. The TV real estate shows are created for entertainment. They are definitely not about the reality of our local market. Selling: Price the home right! When you are selling you really only have control over two things, the price you place on the home, and the condition of the house. Condition affects the price, so pricing the house right to get it sold in your timeframe is critical.

Why should someone select you as their real estate agent?
It’s about hands-on involvement. I take my business very personally. Real estate agents are distinguished both by their success with clients and by their reputation. My track record is stellar on both counts. I am consistently a top producer in our marketplace, and my personal approach is to earn the respect of my clients and peers.
I pride myself on being directly involved with all aspects of a sale or purchase, and with the clients themselves. I work tirelessly and put forth a lot of effort to make sure my clients’ properties get seen by the right buyers. My clients hire me, not a team or entourage of assistants.

What is the most challenging/gratifying aspect of what you do?
The most gratifying aspect of what I do is helping people achieve the dreams they thought were out of reach. Finding a home that they love, where they will raise their family and create lasting memories that are printed in the hearts of their children is indescribably rewarding. Helping people make wise investments in their future whether it is their personal family home, a second home, or rental properties is an extremely gratifying process for me.

What do you see in the future for real estate sales/prices?
The market is always changing. We are seeing a mild increase in home prices, and sales are steady. I see the future of our real estate market growing steadily as our population increases.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Hobbies, volunteering, family, fun?
I love working on community projects. I am a member of the Greater Clark County Rotary Club and we do service work throughout the county. In my free time I enjoy watercolor painting, drawing, spending time with my grandchildren, and attending local high school football and basketball games with my husband, Dave.

What do you like about living in this area?
I love the diversity of this area. The city life is minutes away. Country living on acreage is as affordable as a condo in The Pearl. There is something for everyone here! I love the ocean and the mountains, the trees and, yes, even the rain. The people of our area are friendly, have a sense of community and are overall, some of the finest people anywhere!

Anything else you would like our readers to know about you and your company?
I was recently nominated by my peers and elected by other REALTORS® to a Directors position at the Clark County Association of REALTORS®, a position that I am honored to serve in. Not all real estate agents and brokers are REALTORS®. A real estate agent who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® must uphold the standards of the association and its code of ethics. I am a REALTOR® who is committed to maintaining the professionalism of the real estate business. I also work as a Real Estate Coach and do coaching and training for other real estate agents and professionals across the country. I have been working with Excelleum Coaching & Consulting out of Costa Mesa, CA, helping other agents thrive.
