How long have you worked in Real Estate?
I started my career in real estate in October of 2004 and have thoroughly enjoyed helping buyers and sellers ever since.

What is your specialty?
Growing up in Vancouver, being familiar with the neighborhoods, schools and local amenities, I feel confident helping buyers and sellers with their residential real estate needs in the Clark County area (east to Washougal and North to Woodland). I enjoy working with a variety of clients, from first time buyers to growing families and down-sizers. I also enjoy working with a variety of homes from old to new, condos, mid-size homes and very large homes on acreage, in the country or the city and everywhere in between.

What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy or sell a home?
With our low housing inventory, my tip for buyers is to be ready to go. Prior to looking at homes, make sure your finances are in order, proof of funds if a cash buyer or a pre-approval letter if financing and most important, be patient. Sometimes it takes a while to find the right home – and that’s ok.

What is the most challenging/gratifying aspect of what you do?
The most challenging aspect of what I do would be assuring my buyers that everything happens for a reason. That they may have lost out on a home, but another will come along, and they’ll love it even more. I think I get the most gratification when my buyers find and close on “the one”. The happiness I get to share with them during the process feels pretty amazing. Along with that also comes the many wonderful friendships I’ve made over the years.

What do you see in the future for real estate sales/prices?
I see prices remaining about the same and the market remaining strong throughout 2018.  Although I think we will more than likely see interest rates rise.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Hobbies, volunteering, family, fun?
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family. My hubby and I were high school sweethearts and we just celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary in August of 2017. We enjoy going on walks, traveling and going out to new restaurants. I have two sons, Austin a senior (where did the time go?) and Brandon a freshman, both at Union High School. I also have an adorable 3-year-old lab named Buddy who’s got quite the personality and a lot of energy.  I also love spending time with my girlfriends. We enjoy crafting, dancing and going to concerts at the Amphitheater.

What do you like about living in this area?
I love our seasons, especially fall when the air is crisp, and the leaves are red, yellow and orange.  I love that everything is so green and so clean. I love that we still feel like a small town (even though we aren’t anymore). I love how our downtown is growing with new shops, restaurants, and has fun events in the park. I also love that we can get to the beach or the mountains within a few hours.

Anything else you would like our readers to know about you and your company?
I take pride in the fact my business is built on referrals. It’s so rewarding when a past client refers their brother/sister, mom and dad, best friend, co-worker and now even their children (when did they get to be old enough to buy a home?). In 2017, I was fortunate to be awarded with a Real Living 360 Service Diamond Award, I was #6 in my office with over 10 million in sales and #97 in all of Real Living with over 5000+ agents. Real Living has a 97% customer satisfaction rating and was voted Best in Business in the Vancouver Business Journal, Brand of the Year and Most Trusted Brand. I love that Real Living is involved in our community and is committed to giving back. I work hard for my clients and am there to support them throughout their transaction as I know Real Living is here to support me.
