How long have you worked in Real Estate? This is my 2nd year and I love it!
What is your specialty? My niche is working with our buyer clients! I love hearing their wishlists and making it happen.
What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy or sell a home? Step one would be to get your finances in order so you can find something within your wish budget. Next is to find a reputable Realtor that is willing to work hard for you. Not all agents are created equal so make sure to ask lots of questions to ensure your best interests are kept at heart and that you’re a good personality match.
What is the most unique property you’ve listed or sold? One home I just sold came with ALL OF SELLERS belongings including a fish in a bowl. Generally, pets are not included and this one was!
What is the most unusual thing you’ve encountered while working in Real Estate? I was a showing a home with a cat and remarks said “not friendly” and sure enough that was correct! The cat thought she was a dog, and was guarding the stairway up. Anytime we’d try to walk up it up hiss and swipe at us. We eventually made it up the stairs so showing homes with pets can certainly be unusual!
What is the most challenging/gratifying aspect of what you do? Giving keys to clients that turn friends is exactly why I do this as a career. The feeling of being part of their big moment is something I truly enjoy.
What do you see in the future for real estate sales/prices? Vancouver keeps making the news for the “place to live” so I’m confident we will keep being an attraction for newcomers to the area. Our pricing has been steady and current interest rates are certainly helping our market thrive. Buyers can still get great deals on homes so that is exciting to see.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Hobbies, volunteering, family, fun? Spending time with friends and family, reading good books and going to the river.
What do you like about living in this area? I’ve lived in this area my whole life so this is definitely home to me. The rivers, the fresh air, the ocean… whats not to love? 🙂
Anything else you would like our readers to know about you and your company? We all help the community with food needs, we donate our personal time, help the children, and also provide clothing items throughout the year. Our agency has obtained Best of Vancouver as well as claimed the #1 Resale Agent spot, something that we are very proud of.
