How long have you worked in Real Estate?  I started my real estate career in July of 2019 although, I grew up around the real estate industry and was inspired to become a real estate broker after seeing the joy that buying or selling a home can bring someone. It always seemed like a good fit for me and I knew that I could make my clients real estate experience easy and fun.

What is your specialty? I really enjoy residential sales working with both buyers and sellers.

What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy or sell a home? If you’re selling you home, doing simple things, like a fresh coat of paint can make a huge difference.  As a buyer in today’s market I would say don’t fall in love too quick with one home.

What is the most unique property you’ve listed or sold? There was this octagon house in the Gorge where I represented the buyers. The house had unique shaped rooms that were spacious with much of natural lighting. It had about 3 acres with beautiful territorial views.

What is the most challenging/gratifying aspect of what you do? For me, the most gratifying aspect of real estate is when you can get a family into the home that they will build their future in.

What do you see in the future for real estate sales/prices?  We are seeing home prices escalate in today’s market as we have more buyers than sellers. If you have been thinking of selling this is a great time to list and purchase your next home.  There are buyers in the market so homes are not sitting long and getting great prices.  Interest rates are low so you might be able to purchase your next home without dramatically increasing your payment amount.  Our housing market is forecasted to stay strong, with the Portland/ Vancouver area on the top 10 list for millennial buyers.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Hobbies, volunteering, family, fun?  When I am not working, I love camping, hiking and kayaking with my boyfriend Jacob and our dogs Griffin and Rick.

What do you like about living in this area? I was born and raised in Washougal. Living in the Pacific Northwest is always an adventure.  I love living here with so many outdoor activities.  We are close to hiking, camping, water, and Mt Hood.  We have all the convenience of being close to Portland as well.  There is no place like home, The Pacific Northwest has a sense of calm that I haven’t found anywhere else.

Anything else you would like our readers to know about you and your company? Columbia River Realty was opened in 2013, it is the only brick and mortar real estate company in Washougal. In 2019 we expanded to Stevenson and continue to grow. Our company provides great individual training, coaching and support to the brokers.  We are client focused and very involved in our community.
