2018 Columbia Credit Union Remodeled Homes Tour Features Diverse Renovation Projects

Whole home, kitchen, and bath renovations along with an ADU showcase what is possible with existing homes across Clark County.

With home prices continually on the rise, more and more Clark County residents who currently own a home are choosing to remodel rather than move. Whether it’s to upsize or downsize, or to achieve the home of their dreams, homeowners are getting creative. Some are even using their largest asset for income property, hosting a tiny home for a retiring parent, and turning a “good deal” into a “forever deal.”

This year’s Columbia Credit Union Remodeled Homes Tour presented by CFM and DeWils highlights this trend with one of the largest collection of projects ever featured in the Remodeled Homes Tour. Eight home transformations are open to the public October 20 through October 21 where attendees can expect ample real-world ideas and access to each project’s remodeler for expert advice.

Anyone considering a home renovation is encouraged to attend this event which promises to inspire and motivate visitors to pursue their own projects. Featured projects in this year’s tour include:

All participants in the Remodeled Homes Tour are members of the Remodelers of Clark County (ROCC)—a council of the Building Industry Association. ROCC is a group of local craftsmen holding themselves to the highest standard and supporting each other professionally. ROCC members will be on hand at each project to answer questions and offer remodeling insight.

The Building Industry Association (BIA) of Clark County is a non-profit trade association representing the interests of all businesses involved with real estate, land development, homebuilding and construction.
