How long have you worked in Real Estate?
I began my rewarding career in real estate as a leasing agent with Zenith Properties in 2014. I spent the first year learning the fundamentals of the industry, then began assisting our Designated Broker with transaction coordination. This experience encouraged me to obtain my broker’s license in June 2016. I am now a Broker and Assistant to the firm’s Managing Broker for all real estate transactions.
What is your specialty?
My specialty is focusing on investment properties and helping real estate investors acquire income properties or divesting properties. Working with a close team and long-term client throughout the entire process from start to finish is truly rewarding.
What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy or sell a home?
Work with an agent or firm that fully understands your goals, find an experienced broker, and put your trust and confidence in them to help you achieve your goals.
What is the most unique property you’ve listed or sold?
My most unique challenge was helping to sell my parent’s residence. It was challenging because I hadn’t worked as an agent for a family member or friend before. I learned that family members will tell an agent things that an unrelated client might not mention. The sale took longer than expected, but it turned out successfully. They will always be my favorite clients!
What is the most challenging/gratifying aspect of what you do?
Being able to satisfy clients. Strategies in real estate can sometimes be unpredictable even when they are based upon educated predictions. I love the feeling you get when a transaction meets or even exceeds the client’s expectations, and the clients are very pleased with the experience in achieving their objectives.
What do you see in the future for real estate sales/prices?
2018 will be another great year! Clark County continues to show substantial growth with rising job opportunities, developmental projects, and an increase demand for housing. I think we’ll continue to see the market grow, maybe not as rapidly as previous years, but at a considerable rate that will positively impact prices.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Hobbies, volunteering, family, fun?
I enjoy trying new restaurants around town, going on a morning stroll through my neighborhood sipping on coffee while admiring the different types of homes (go figure), stopping at local markets for street food, golfing with my parents, exploring the area’s social scene, and seeking outdoor adventures.
What do you like about living in this area?
I love all the greenery, beautiful sunsets, mountain views, experiencing all four seasons and, of course, the culinary exposure. You can easily go to the beach, the mountain, explore the Gorge, or stay local and sightsee. There are events to check out, a new restaurant to try, or simply revisit a landmark…there is always something to do.
