How long have you worked in Real Estate?
12 years.

What is your specialty?
While I service all real estate needs, I’m particularly drawn to the needs of Buyers and Sellers who are seeking assistance with major life goals such as downsizing, integrated extended family housing, and floating homes.

What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy or sell a home?
The single most important tip I suggest is a meeting with a long-established Realtor®/mortgage lender team, well in advance of any decisions. We can help structure solutions best suited to our clients’ interests, often laying down a foundation of knowledge upon which realistic expectations may be applied towards success.

What is the most unique property you’ve listed or sold?
I‘ve listed and sold a variety of unique properties, from remote off-grid vacation homes, to a marina.

What is the most challenging/gratifying aspect of what you do?
I derive a great deal of satisfaction from my professional functions within Clark County Association of Realtors® and Washington Realtors®. Locally, I sit on the Professional Standards committee, which is committed to upholding the Realtor® Code of Ethics. With Washington Realtors®, I chair the Communications Sub-Committee, participate on the Editorial Sub-Committee, and I’m also a Director on Board. I’m proud to look out for the interests of home owners and home ownership in general, but nothing beats the happiness of my own clients when I hand them the keys to their new home.

What do you see in the future for real estate sales/prices?
A lack of inventory has contributed to tremendous frustration within the Buyer pool, but I think this has also prompted a re-examination of goals and solutions. Prices continue to trend upwards, which can be shocking to Buyers who’re intent on kicking tires at the top of their budget, and suddenly find themselves priced out of the market.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Hobbies, volunteering, family, fun?
I’m a life-long sailor, and am currently refitting a 35 year-old sailboat. I enjoy paragliding locally, and I usually find time in the depths of winter to escape to Costa Rica. My fiancée and I have personally built a house on the Big Island, which we often visit to enjoy tropical breezes, sunshine, and a stunning array of fruit grown within steps of our lanai.

What do you like about living in this area?
I’m a native of the Pacific Northwest. While I’ve traveled extensively, I always return home to our little slice of paradise. It would be hard to find a better location in which one might play in the mountains, in the surf, in the forest, and the urban jungle, all within a day.

Anything else you would like our readers to know about you and your company?
I’m thrilled with my association with Professional Realty Services in NW Oregon and SW Washington. My able representation, efficient virtual office, and long-establish professional relationships contribute to the success of my clients without obligating them to the extraordinary costs associated with a bricks and mortar office or franchise fees.
