How long have you worked in Real Estate?
I started my Real Estate journey in January of 2017! Super excited to mark the one year anniversary of the best career move I’ve made.

What is your specialty?
I love helping first time homebuyers through all the “unknown” processes of looking, purchasing, moving and getting settled into their new home.

What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy or sell a home?
ALWAYS use a licensed agent that you trust to help guide you through the process. There are a lot of unknown legal issues that always seem to arise.

What is the most unique property you’ve listed or sold?
The most unique property that I have sold is probably a one owner custom build 6 acre property with a shop and many extras.

What is the most unusual thing you’ve encountered while working in Real Estate?
I would say the most unusual thing I have encountered when showing a home was an old antique doll in a wooden crib placed in the corner of a vacant room directly under the light. My clients called it “creepy baby.”

What is the most challenging/gratifying aspect of what you do?
The most challenging aspect of real estate I believe is getting all parties on the same page and understanding the limits of what we as Real Estate agents can and can’t do. But with that said, I find the most gratification comes from a hard negotiation process and the smiles on your clients face when they get what they wanted or needed in the sale or purchase of their home.

What do you see in the future for real estate sales/prices?
Right now we have had a slight decrease in the number of purchases of homes in Clark County over the last few months strictly because we do not have enough inventory….the demand is still strong and I still believe in 2018 will see a slight increase in prices as there isn’t enough homes on the market for the number of buyers out there.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Hobbies, volunteering, family, fun?
When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my husband and three kiddos ages 15, 11 and 4. They keep us busy with sports, school and arts and crafts. When we aren’t doing kid stuff we enjoy using our Travel Trailer and taking in the scenic beauty of the Northwest.

What do you like about living in this area?
I am born and raised in Vancouver. I couldn’t imagine living any where else. I love that we get to experience all four seasons and are so close to beaches, mountains and rivers.

Anything else you would like our readers to know about you and your company?
Before I started my real estate career I owned my own In Home licensed childcare. I have found that many of the same things I have done over the last 10 years translates directly to working with my clients in Real Estate. Everyone no matter what age needs attention, care, respect, support and a listening ear! I am truly blessed to work for a company that has the same philosophy and support system that I offer to my clients.
