How long have you worked in Real Estate?
I’ve been helping buyers and sellers achieve their Real Estate dreams since 2011. As a licensed Realtor® in both Washington and Oregon, I have been able to help over 300 families with their Real Estate needs.

What is your specialty?
I specialize in everything that involves Residential Real Estate. Buying, selling, building new homes, and investment properties for either rentals or rehab projects.

What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy or sell a home?
Contact a professional like myself! People don’t realize how much work goes into buying or selling a home. We take all the stress out of the process and help you get the best possible deal with buying a new home and the most amount of money in your pocket when selling your current home.

What is the most unique property you’ve listed or sold?
I SOLD a home that I named the “Mediterranean Castle” because that’s exactly what it looked like. I had an investor client who had tried to sell this extremely unique home in Washougal, WA with another Realtor with no luck. He called me to help and we made a few minor changes to some light fixtures, some touch up paint and had the home professionally staged. We got multiple offers on his home the first weekend we re-listed it!

What is the most unusual thing you’ve encountered while working in Real Estate?
During my third year in Real Estate I got a sign call from a buyer that wanted to see my short sale listing, I rushed out to meet her there. She showed up in a beat up van that barely got her to the home. After asking her some questions she mentioned she would be paying CASH for her next home. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and took her out on a property tour and found her a new home. After closing on the sale just five days later she told me how she had just inherited several hundred thousands of dollars and was delighted that an agent finally believed in her and helped her find a home. This was a great reminder to not judge anyone because you never know their story.

What is the most challenging/gratifying aspect of what you do?
The most gratifying feeling is being able to WIN THE DEAL! Meaning when I get the opportunity to call my buyer and let them know we got their offer accepted in this highly competitive market or on the other end of the spectrum, being able to call my seller and let them know we sold their home for more money than they ever expected.
Most challenging aspect of Real Estate sales is reminding everyone to not get emotional and to think logically during negations.

What do you see in the future for real estate sales/prices?
I think the market will start stabilizing towards the end of the year. I believe we will start seeing a reasonable increase in property values going forward. So, if you have thought about selling in the next 5-10 years now is definitely the time to do so as we are likely at the top of our market.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Hobbies, volunteering, family, fun?
I like going to the gym, boating, traveling, spending time with family/friends, doing local charity runs, walking my Rottweiler Bella (she is a major sweetheart), finding amazing online shopping deals and enjoying a great glass of wine while watching Game of Thrones on Sunday nights!
What do you like about living in this area?
The Pacific Northwest is one of the most picturesque parts of our country! I have traveled all over the United States and I have not found any city that compares to Vancouver, WA. We are such a tight-knit community for the size of our city! I love that we are so close to the mountains and the beach, offer activities like hiking & biking trails, the amazing Wine, Jazz and food festivals, awesome breweries, and we can’t forget about the beautiful golf courses!

Anything else you would like our readers to know about you and your company?
My team consists of amazing people including Kaytee McDaniel of Keller Williams and lender partner Matt Merrill of Academy Mortgage. We are affiliated with the national Homes for Heroes program. This program helps those that give extraordinary service daily in our community and allows us to say “THANK YOU” to our local heroes that are firefighters, law enforcement, past/present military, teachers, healthcare workers and EMS by offering benefits and CASH rewards when buying or selling a home!
