How long have you worked in Real Estate?
One year. I previously worked in banking for 20 years. Banking has helped prepare me for real estate by teaching me how to provide great customer service and the importance of strong operational skills.

What is your specialty?
Buyer’s Agent, Listing Agent

What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy or sell a home?
Buyers need to understand today’s market and have lending pre-approvals in motion before they start looking. Finding out what they qualify for is the first step, not the last step.

What is the most unique property you’ve listed or sold?
For me, it is listing the home my sister owns. Which is the home my mother used to own. It’s nostalgic. The home brings back many memories. I picture my horses in the pasture, my daughter was born there, and the old neighbors still live next door.

What is the most challenging/gratifying aspect of what you do?
It’s gratifying to me when I see the excitement on my client’s face when their home sells, or when they find the home they want to purchase. It’s not about me making a sale, it’s being the person who helped them reach their goals. I have been blessed in having some of the nicest people as clients and tend to become close to them. I consider them friends by the time the transaction is completed.

What do you see in the future for real estate sales/prices?
With an election year, we may see things slow down as people wait to see what happens.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Hobbies, volunteering, family, fun?
I grew up in rural Battle Ground and live just a few miles from my family home. I enjoy hiking in the foothills around Clark County with my two dogs (rain or shine!), gardening, target shooting and spending time with my family and friends. In the summer, you may find me relaxing on our deck reading a good book and enjoying the peace and quiet.

What do you like about living in this area?
We live in one of the most beautiful areas. We have access to the fun of the city, yet close to mountains, lakes, rivers. There are many things to do in or near Clark County.

Anything else you would like our readers to know about you and your company?
We are a locally owned company, and have one of the best Broker compensation plans around. We are one of the fastest growing real estate brokerage in SW Washington. We have a supportive team environment and marketing support. I like keeping it local. It’s important for me to support local businesses as much as possible.
