How long have you worked in Real Estate?
Kristy – 5 years at Polygon NW Homes, 1 Year Rockford Homes, and licensed agent since 2005.
Molly – 2 years Rockford Homes and licensed since 2005
Wow, combined experience of over 20 years!!
What is your specialty?
From new home buyers to retired baby-boomers and job-related relocating families…we work extremely hard through the transaction to advocate for our buyers and sellers so they can share their experience with the next person they talk to who is looking to buy or sell with confidence to refer our excellent service.
What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy or sell a home?
Find a Broker/Realtor that you can communicate, relate and work well with. Communication and knowledge are the keys when you are making the biggest decisions of your life about buying or selling a home. You need an advocate on your side, helping you guide your way through the process.
What is the most unique property you’ve listed or sold?
We listed an old farmhouse out in Washougal that has a ton of history. The stories were amazing and fun to share with clients as they called and inquired.
What is the most unusual thing you’ve encountered while working in real estate?
Well, we’d have to say it’s the Master Bedroom/Bathroom. We have seen the retro RED tub, to a Soaking Tub in the middle of the Master Bedroom. But the most unusual encounter was finding Mr. Seller, who was said to be away while we’d be showing, IN THE SHOWER!
What do you see in the future for real estate sales/prices?
We have been in the industry through all the ups and downs. Our hope is to see a slow increase in value for the next several years. I think most would agree that we don’t want to go back to that overpriced/zealous market we saw in 2006-2008.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Hobbies, volunteering, family, fun?
Molly, a mother of 2, enjoys traveling, working in the yard, spending time with friends and family around her pool, watching her kids’ sporting events, and taking Zumba/RIPPED classes.
Kristy, a mother of 4, enjoys watching her kids’ basketball, volleyball and soccer games. Has always relished time with her Girl Scout Troop. She looks forward to family trips to the coast to see the joys of her husband and kids fishing, crabbing and clamming. Spending time with her friends is her way of unwinding and catching up in their lives.
What do you like about living in this area?
The mild weather and the change of the seasons; having the green trees, mountains, hiking trails, rivers and lakes; some of the best food from the Portland Food Carts and restaurants off of Alberta.
