How long have you worked in Real Estate?
I have been a licensed Real Estate Broker for 19 years and Managing Broker 14 years. Before I became involved in Real Estate I was in the banking Industry for 25 years, primarily in the lending division. My experience also includes 10 years in new construction.

What is your specialty?
Primarily all of residential Real Estate, working with Sellers and buyers. Also I am a Certified Relocation Specialist.

What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy or sell a home?
Never rush to list and never rush to buy and make the experience FUN!

What is the most unique property you’ve listed or sold?
The property wasn’t as unique as the Seller. She decorated for Christmas year round. I listed the property in July. Christmas in July?

What is the most unusual thing you’ve encountered while working in real estate?
Being surprised and chased in a pasture by angry goats on a showing appointment!

What is the most challenging/gratifying aspect of what you do?
I love all aspects of Real Estate and truly enjoy and strive to satisfy my clients. I have a tendency to joke around a bit so that seems to ease out any challenges we may encounter! My long lasting friendships with my clients is the most gratifying.

What do you see in the future for real estate sales/prices?
Historically Clark County Homes have continued to appreciate over the long haul. I believe that 2015 will be a great year for Sellers and Buyers.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Hobbies, volunteering, family, fun?
My husband Randy and I raise quarter horse race horses. We have a family owned business: Westlie Ford, Inc. which also supports the Camas and Washougal Athletic Programs.
I am proud to be a member of the BlackPearl Friesian Association. This nonprofit association is dedicated to serving our community by bringing joy and healing to both horses and humans alike through equine performance art in events that contribute to and support our local charities. Besides donations we provided 79,322 pounds of food, personal items and supplies to several nonprofit charities and organizations in 2014.

What do you like about living in this area?
I love living in the Pacific Northwest where we can experience all four seasons. I love being close to the beach and yet so close to the Mountains and Desert. Clark County has so much to offer.

Anything else you would like our readers to know about you and your company?
Windermere Stellar is a great company to work with. We are heavy supporters of the Clark County Children’s Justice Center with our annual fundraiser and partnership.
