How long have you worked in Real Estate?
I have been the Office Success Manager since January 2017. In April, I became a Washington state licensed RealtorĀ® for the team as well! I have managed to find a great balance of managing our office and assisting clients in purchasing and selling homes in and around the Vancouver area.

What is your specialty?
I would say that my specialty is “people.” I enjoy getting to know my clients well so that I can truly help them find the perfect home. I am highly knowledgeable about our community as well as the local schools and enjoy sharing that knowledge with my clients.

What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy or sell a home?
Once you are pre-approved and understand what budget is comfortable for you, start looking at all the options. When you like something, trust your instinct and don’t be afraid to write an offer!

What is the most unique property you’ve listed or sold?
The most unique home ever was a house that was shaped like an octagon. There was a pool in the center of the home and all the living areas, bedrooms and bathrooms were around the pool. Each room had a window that overlooked the indoor pool. The master bathroom had a private sauna and a beautiful spa-like shower with rock details from floor to ceiling. This home was surely a one of a kind.

What is the most challenging/gratifying aspect of what you do?
The most gratifying aspect of working in real estate is certainly when it comes time to hand the keys over to a new homeowner! Buying and/or selling a home can be the most stressful time in someone’s life so it is an honor to be trusted to help someone when they are in a vulnerable place in their life.

What do you see in the future for real estate sales/prices?
I wish that I had a magic crystal ball to answer that question! However, I do think that in our area home values will continue to rise for a while longer then probably eventually level off a bit. The Northwest is such a desirable place to live that it will just continue to grow for some time to come.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Hobbies, volunteering, family, fun?
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jeff and our 11 & 13-year-old boys. I enjoy time outdoors, wine tasting, traveling and watching my children play sports. I volunteer my time serving as the Vice-President of East Vancouver Pop Warner a local non-profit youth football and cheer program serving the Evergreen School District.

What do you like about living in this area?
This area is so beautiful! Where else can you live that you can enjoy the beach, the mountains, and high desert all within a couple hours’ drive? I also love the people of our area!

Anything else you would like our readers to know about you and your company?
I love being a part of the Maple Realty – Ciot Group team! I feel so lucky to have a career that allows me to help others while gaining positive personal and professional relationships all while making a positive impact on my local community.
